The Lights are a rockabilly, folk, pop, country, blues duo from Yorkshire. (hard to pigeon hole)
Mike and Hollyanne met in 2017 when they created their acoustic act. Their music gives a modern, fresh take on the classic folk sound. Collectively, their music has been played on major radio stations such as BBC, Amazing radio, Jorvik Radio York to mention a few, as well as playing at festivals and events such as Cawoodstock 2018, The Priory Live, L.I.A.M, and The Yorkshire Hearty Festival.
In 2021 they supported the Christians and are currently travelling the U.K with original and cover songs whilst recording two albums the first of which is out now and available to stream on all platforms as well available on CD.
Looking forward to supporting Hue and Cry later this year and working on the second album coming soon.
